Testimonials
We love hearing back from a few of our past guests who left feeling like part of our family!
Veena, one of our most recent guests from Australia, said the following:
"Recently, I got home from a fabulous trip to South Africa. When a tour operator had to cancel my trip to Kruger National Park at very short notice, Colleen Becker stepped in and saved the day and my holiday.
Not only did she and her son Calvin pick me up and drop me off at the airport, but they showed me in and around their beautiful city. Without them, I would probably not have gone to Soweto on my own, or the Cradle of Humankind, or the Rosebank markets, or tried Bunny Chow at Fordsburg.
Calvin and I went to Kruger National Park for a few days and travelled the Panorama Route, stopping at quirky and beautiful places along the way. Without Family Becker, I would not have got to visit some of the places we did.
Fancy afternoon lunch and tea inside Kruger Park, a nursery, and golf course(!), and a hide at Lake Panic to watch hippos sleeping during the day. I could go on and on, but I think you get my drift.
It's not just Colleen who welcomed me, but her entire family, including dogs Tonsil and Leyla, made me feel at home. Not for one minute did I feel like a guest; we were Family from the moment we met. Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart!โ
